Enterprise Domain-Driven UX/UI Competency

The Client

The client is a leading financial services company based in the US that offers corporate restructuring and consumer-bankruptcy-related solutions to fiduciaries. In addition, the firm provides its solutions in the areas of specialty deposits and receiverships.

Key Outcomes

Designed modern UX/UI for Stretto's U.S. Chapter-11 corporate bankruptcy management platform with 1000+ screens, 50+ workflows, and 10+ user personas.
Enhanced Stretto's bankruptcy platform with automated workflows, RBAC, data security, analytics, and reporting.

Business Challenges

The client is building a brand new U.S. Chapter-11 corporate restructuring management product and has complex financial workflows with stakeholders like Case Administrators, Client Administrators, Legal Professionals, Creditors, Debtors, and Financial Accountants. Zymr was called upon to help streamline the User Experience for several core workflows in the bankruptcy management lifecycle. The client had provided Zymr with Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), some wireframes, and a design standard guide. We were responsible for final polished high-fidelity UX and supporting software developers to implement the approved UX.

Business Impacts / Key Results Achieved

To be effective in our UX design, we understand the domain of corporate bankruptcy. With some assistance from our product owners, we quickly grasped the BRD requirements and started with information architecture. We needed to understand the workflows and specific forms that match the database schema. We leverage the wireframes provided to us and improved on them to come up with our UX design. We incorporated UX that mapped the User Personas. We designed the UX using Sketch and used prototyping tools like InVision to review our design with the client. After our client approved our UX designs, we shared the Zeplin files with our UI developers. We continued to iterate over these designs and also do UI acceptance testing of the final UI. We followed Agile Development processes and used Jira for all our work.
